We have a new platform technology, We produce recombinant proteins in non transgenic plants by transient expression of a vector containing the cDNA of the protein of interest, which is purified by FPLC afterwards.
The final result is a recombinant protein which may have disulfide bonds or post-translational modifications, with a minimum of 97% purity degree, fully active and completely animal free.
Competitive plant production of recombinant proteins requires the design of particular strategies expression per protein or protein group, complying with three basic rules:
