Description

Molecular weight: recombinant human TGF-β2 is a 27.08 kDa protein composed of two identical 118 amino acid polypeptide chains linked by a single disulfide bond.

Biological Activity:

-  Effect of rh TGF beta-2 on  mink lung epithelial (Mv1Lu) cells proliferation. The biological activity of TGF-β2 is measured in culture by its ability to inhibit the mink lung epithelial (Mv1Lu) cells proliferation. ED50 ≤ 70ng/ml

- Effect of rH TGFbeta 2 on Human fibroblast cell proliferation. Figure 3.

- Effect of rH TGF beta-2 on extracellular matrix proteins (Fibronectin) synthesis in fibroblasts. Figure 4.

- Effect of rH TGF beta-2 on collagen synthesis in fibroblasts. Figure 5.

Recombinant human TGF beta-2 stimulates the  proliferation of fibroblasts, the synthesis of collagen in fibroblasts and induces the synthesis and organization of fibronectin in the extracellular matrix (ECM).
