Molecular weight: recombinant human TGF-β2 is a 27.08 kDa protein composed of two identical 118 amino acid polypeptide chains linked by a single disulfide bond.

Recombinant human TGF beta-2 stimulates the proliferation of fibroblasts, the synthesis of collagen in fibroblasts and induces the synthesis and organization of fibronectin in the extracellular matrix (ECM).
